We just left from our 5 day stay @ Frio River Cabins (#7). We had an amazing time and was very satisfied with the cabin and the grounds. The access to the river was perfect, the bird watching from the front porch was so peaceful! The only advice we would give is for all families to be very cautious of the scorpions, we killed 11 while we were there (all on the front porch). Make sure to check your shoes if you leave them outside before you put them on. Overall we would definitely recommend Frio River and would return again!

Absolutely loved our weekend in cabin seven. Scenery is beautiful, cabin accommodations were comfortable for all. Although that part of the river isn’t the best part to go swimming in, Garner is just a mile and a half away and that makes for a good swim

ENJOY COMPLETE SECLUSION AT CABIN #7.

Total seclusion and the crystal-clear Frio River make this a magical place and one of our most popular locations. Century old oaks provide a shady area to barbecue, enjoy a campfire or just relax on the spacious front porch. Take a walk on our nature trails where abundant wildlife can be seen or stroll down to the river and watch the fireflies come out at night. Hundreds of deer, turkey and many other species of wildlife can be seen throughout the day from the front porch.
