Directions from Midland to Frio River Cabins Office

Take state Hwy 349 south to Interstate 10 East.

From Interstate 10 take Hwy 83 South to Leakey.

Go through Leakey and continue South for another 6.5 miles and look for landmark FM1120 (Rio Frio).

**Note: FM1120 is a loop. The first sign for FM1120 is just outside of Leakey. Keep going to the second FM1120 sign that is 6.5 miles south of Leakey.

​When you see FM 1120 DO NOT TURN. Stay on HWY 83 and slow down. Our entrance is the first left. You will immediately cross over Buffalo Creek Bridge. You will see our square white and teal “Frio River Cabins OFFICE” sign on the left side of Hwy 83. Turn left at the sign and pass through a black pipe and wire gate entrance. Follow the paved road to a white house. This is our office.  Pull up to the front sidewalk.

If you pass River Bend (pink sign) off of Hwy 83 or Garner State Park, you have missed us.
