Directions from San Antonio to Frio River Cabins Office

From San Antonio take Hwy 90 West

Follow Hwy 90 through Castroville, Hondo, D’hanis and Sabinal.

In Sabinal turn right (at a stop light) on FM 127.
FM 127 will dead-end into Hwy 83.
Turn right (north) on Hwy 83.

After 8 miles look for FM 1050 (the turn for Garner State Park) on the right side of Hwy 83.

DO NOT TURN.

FM 1050 is a landmark. The office is 1.5 miles past FM 1050 on Hwy 83.

​After you pass FM 1050 look for a pink sign that says River Bend on the right side of Hwy 83 and slow down. Our entrance is the third right after River Bend. Look for a black pipe and wire fence (entrance) and our square white and teal “Frio River Cabins Office” sign on the right side of Hwy 83. Follow the small paved road until you see a white house. This is the office. Drive through the gate and on up to the front sidewalk.

If you pass FM 1120 you just missed us.
