We always stay in the units near happy hollow and pecan creek when we go, and have never had a bad experience. Always clean, and it sits in a nice holler. Good swimming hole with rocks to jump off of.

Stayed over there for Easter weekend. The woman there . The part owner is very nice and and down to earth. They don’t have any hidden fees or anything like that. The cabins are very clean and cozy. Has everything that you need to cook with. The man who cam for the trash was also nice. We were gonna dump our trash cause it was getting full and he said no it’s his job to don’t not to worry. We can’t wait to go back again. The water was a little shallower than usual because of the drought. But it was still up to my chest.

Loved the owner and her staff-super awesome and accommodating! We stayed at the River Terrace Cabins…..had everything we needed; the river and swimming hole nearby. Great location! Definitely going back!

Towering oak trees provide a shady area to barbecue, enjoy a campfire, pitch horseshoes, or just relax and observe wildlife. These cabins are located on the best stretch of the Frio River for tubing. Take a stroll to the river to watch the fireflies come out in the evenings or star gaze from your porch!

what to bring
Pillows, blankets, sheets, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, toiletries, lawn chairs and ice. Linens are supplied for an additional cost, excluding the peak season time period. We are unable to offer linens during peak season due to labor shortages in our rural area. Contact our office at 830-232-5996 for more information regarding linens.
