Directions from Corpus Christi to Frio River Cabins Office

Take Interstate 37 north.
Exit Hwy 281 north and take Hwy 281 to Pleasanton.
From Pleasanton take Hwy 97 southwest to Jourdanton.
From Jourdanton take Hwy 173 north to Hwy 90 west.

You will pass through Hondo and D’hanis.
In Sabinal turn right (at a stop light) on FM 127
FM 127 will dead-end into Hwy 83.
Turn right (north) on Hwy 83.

After 8 miles look for FM 1050 (the turn for Garner State Park)
Don’t turn. FM 1050 is a landmark.
The office is 1.5 miles past FM 1050 on Hwy 83.

After passing FM 1050 look for a pink sign that says River Bend on the right side of Hwy 83, slow down. Our entrance is the third right after River Bend. Look for a pipe and wire fence (entrance) and our square white and teal “Frio River Cabins Office” sign on the right side of Hwy 83. Follow the small paved road until you see a white house. This is the office. Drive up and around to the front sidewalk (NOTE: There are no buildings that are visible from the road so look carefully for the small brown and yellow sign.)

If you pass Buffalo Creek Bridge or FM1120 you just missed us.
