Veronica was so amazing !! This whole place was beautiful and the groundskeeper was so nice to my girls and talked to them about what kind of seeds for the bird feeder were being used ! I highly suggest this place !!

We stayed in one of the original 6 cabins. This is the place to go when you need to re-boot, relax, breathe fresh air, sit and watch wildlife, the stars, and just enjoy everything that nature has to offer. The cabins magically changed our stay into a luxury event with everything we needed from nice hot showers to fantastic heating and AC. Our cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed. Everything was exceptionally clean. I mean everything. I will definitely make arrangements to stay longer on my next visit….our 4 days just flew by. The grounds are managed so well for wildlife. Kudos to Veronica and her staff!!! GREAT place to walk. I got so much exercise that I had to rest up when I got home. Lots of paths and private roadways to walk with no cars or people or car exhausts. And no dogs chasing me down the street. Again, a great experience – bring a good pair of sneakers or hiking boots. You’ll be glad you did.

Me and my husband stayed here for five nights over the Easter holiday. We absolutely LOVED it!! The people were very friendly and answered any questions we had. The cabin we stayed in was very clean, had a refrigerator, oven/stove, and a nice area outside for a bonfire. The scenery is just gorgeous. We will definitely be coming back here.

Century old pecan trees provide a shady area to barbecue, enjoy a campfire, play volleyball, pitch horseshoes or just relax and observe wildlife. The tapered river bank makes this location great for young kids. There are shallow river areas, perfect for smaller children, and deep swimming holes for fishing and swimming. Take a walk on our nature trails where abundant wildlife can be seen.

Each cabin has a private outdoor area with:

  • picnic table
  • charcoal BBQ pit
  • campfire ring
  • front porch

The property has a community area nestled in a pecan grove with:

  • volleyball net
  • horseshoe pits
  • additional picnic tables
  • string lights
